David Yezbak - President

David has been involved in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) since 1998. His experience spans over two decades and encompasses a variety of industries, including service, medical, and manufacturing companies. Over the course of his career, David has helped facilitate hundreds of business sale transactions. David is actively involved in multiple organizations in the M&A industry and has received various awards including – the elite Chairman’s Circle award and the Platinum Chairman’s circle award from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). He is a licensed Real Estate Broker-in-Charge (BIC), in South Carolina and Georgia.

David has been a speaker at various conferences, including Chambers of Commerce, the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of International Business, as well as other public and private organizations. He has spoken on topics such as exit planning strategy, business valuation and business acquisition. Yezbak previously wrote a monthly newspaper column for The Augusta Chronicle, in Augusta, Ga. dealing with business buying and selling.

Prior to his involvement in business brokerage, David was the President and partner of Codalex Imaging Companies, a document management business with offices in South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Codalex went public in 1997 as part of a roll-up initial public offering (IPO), at which time the company employed over 150 people.

David is formerly a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Imaging Systems, a private company in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Iconic Adventures, an adventure travel company located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In addition, David served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Trust of South Carolina, the statewide non-profit for the prevention of abuse and neglect of children in South Carolina. After his tenure on the board ended, the organization created the “Yezbak Leadership Award”, given annually to a current board member that shows outstanding leadership in the organization.

He is active in his church, The Basilica of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, in downtown Columbia, South Carolina, where he serves in various capacities, including Lector and Lector training advisor. David is married to his wife Melissa, and they are blessed with two children David Jr. and Elias Joseph Yezbak.
